4th Annual White Mini Marathon: A Celebration of Health and Community Spirit!

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the 4th Annual White Mini Marathon, which took place on August 18th, 2024, at Sivakasi Arts Club. The event brought together an enthusiastic crowd of students, teachers, and community members, all united in the mission of promoting a Drug-Free Sivakasi and supporting World Breastfeeding Awareness.

Event Flagged Off By:

The marathon was flagged off by Dr. Venkatesh Babu IRS, alongside Mrs. Thilagabama, whose support and encouragement set the tone for an energetic and impactful event. Their presence signified the importance of health, wellness, and unity in addressing these crucial social issues.

Event Highlights:

Over 3500 students and local residents participated in the marathon, making it one of our most successful community events to date.
The event commenced at 6 AM with an exciting energy, as participants donned white attire symbolizing purity and health.
The marathon route took runners through key areas of Sivakasi, offering a scenic and inspiring journey towards fitness and awareness.

Promoting Awareness:

This year’s marathon emphasized two critical issues:

Drug-Free Sivakasi: Raising awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and fostering a healthier, safer environment for future generations.
World Breastfeeding Awareness: Advocating for the importance of breastfeeding and supporting the health of both mothers and children in our community.

The event ended with a prize distribution ceremony where top finishers were honored with special prizes, and every participant received a certificate of appreciation. Congratulations to all our winners and to everyone who joined hands in making this event a resounding success!
